Recently I found myself in the interesting position of trying to explain where and how I gained my computer knowledge and skills.You see, I have no formal training whatsoever. Taking a class always seemed a pointless and probably boring exercise. The joy of computers for me was unlocking the secrets hidden in the machine all by myself. Sixteen years of exploring, examining, creating and learning have passed. I acquired my first modem at 13; literally half my life has been spent on-line in one form or another.
Yet, I encounter people who want to know just how I can make the claims I make. How does a liberal arts kinda guy get so involved in all of this technical stuff. This is my answer....
