Nix Bits

I’ve had this blog up and running on blosxom since 2003. Since 8/29/2005, things have changed quite a bit. While there’s nothing wrong with blosxom, I thought it was time to try something new. So I’ve gone to the ever popular Wordpress software package. I really liked blosxom because it is lean and mean and has very few requirements. You only add what you need. But I was getting tired of manually modifying the software and/or the site every time I wanted to do something new. And with all the changes in focus on the site, I figured it was time for a forklift upgrade. I’m also thinking that making this change will prompt me to post and respond to others more frequently than I have in the past.
